ISSUE #11: Large Formats

For so long, wine producers have stayed focused on the 750ml bottle, a few have dabbled in the 3-liter box, but I’m bullish on big bottles. Recently, I broadened the Browne Family Vineyards offering of Cabernet Sauvignon to include a generous run of 1.5-liter and 3-liter bottles, aimed at consumers’ thirsts for holiday celebration and something extraordinary for the on-trade to showcase in restaurants.
To me this is the perfect trophy for any table. The bottles have a screen printing that tells the story of my grandfather, his life and serving as the inspiration for our family winery. From a trade standpoint, these large format bottles provide fantastic value for any restaurant’s fine wine list, one that easily competes with–if not outshines–magnums widely found in restaurants.

Starting with our 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon vintage, this large format program is nationally available 365 days a year and designed to WOW.
