Browne+ Olive Oil

Let Kym Davey introduce you to McLaren Vale, one of Australia’s most renowned agricultural growing areas. During the 1990s, Kym and his brother brought their combined expertise in winemaking, farming, and business to continue to develop the estate first farmed by their grandfather in 1957. Kym Davey introduced Andrew Browne to one of the finest family-owned olive oil producers in the area and the Brownes were immediately hooked. The family business spans two generations and pioneered the traditional basket cold-press process used on the olives grown on their family estate. All bonded by their dedication to their family businesses, the three worked together to create Browne+ Premium and Ultra Premium Olive Oil.

Cold Pressed Ultra-Premium
Extra Virgin Olive Oil — 500mL
The ultra-premium olive oil is produced from select batches of olives from the very first harvest of the season. Intense, freshly-mown grass aroma, but with spicy rocket leaf and minty characteristics. Lighter and sweeter avocado-like flavors on the palate.

Cold Pressed Premium
Extra Virgin Olive Oil — 1L
Made from riper olives picked mid-way through season, the olives produce a sweeter oil which tends to have a milder fruit flavor. This olive oil is ideal for cooking and will not overpower the flavor of food.

Davey & Browne

Australian wine luminary Kym Davey and Browne Family Vineyards’ Andrew Browne are lifelong friends who harnessed their collective whirlwind of energy, enthusiasm, and passion to create a fellowship of fine wines. Andrew Browne will tell you that Kym and his winemaking brother John Davey are recognized internationally for their stellar wines.
“We share a passion for adventure – for Kym it’s motorcycles and for me it’s fly fishing,” Andrew explains. “These wines are an honest expression of shared experiences and a lasting friendship, as well as an honorary tribute to our grandfathers.” The Gordon and Bitner block from the Davey Estate vineyard in the McLaren Vale in South Australia is named in honor of both Kym and John’s grandfather (Gordon) and Andrew’s grandfather (Bitner).

Kym Davey believes that passion and pride are attributes that can be gained from their forefathers, their upbringing, and their friendships throughout life: “We are proud to recognize our grandfather Gordon Hartley Sharpe’s vision over sixty years ago, by staking claim to our Estate.”

In the 1990s John and Kym further developed the Davey Estate Vineyard in McLaren Vale, one of Australia’s most renowned wine growing areas. The McLaren Vale region is located 45 miles south of Adelaide, the capital of South Australia. The wines, each made in its distinct style, showcase the best the McLaren Vale has to offer. They also represent a family committed to producing outstanding wines from the land they love. John’s approach to crafting wine is modern and minimalist. Respecting the fruit is crucial. With small-batch open fermentation, gentle handling, pressing, and maturation, the wines are balanced, food friendly and expressive of their terroir. Davey & Browne wines are available in select retail and restaurant locations nationwide.

4 Cellars

Life is about the journey and the people that you meet along the way. 4 Cellars is a wine collaboration between the members of Grammy Award-winning country music group, Little Big Town, and Browne Family Vineyards. For Little Big Town, wine has always been a part of their story. Whether it is in the studio or on the road, shared with family or friends, the story unfolds much like that of a great wine.
The four members of the band — Karen Fairchild, Phillip Sweet, Kimberly Schlapman and Jimi Westbrook — launched their own wine, 4 Cellars, in 2017 as a tribute to family, friends, and fans with Browne Family Vineyards’ Andrew Browne. This wine is available in stores nationwide and served in select restaurants in the Southeast. Exclusive varietals are available online through the 4 Cellars wine club. Quarterly shipments include wine and select merchandise curated by the band. Memberships range between $100–200 per quarterly shipment.
The band’s members and Browne were introduced through mutual friends during their travels through Washington’s wine country. While visiting the historic town of Walla Walla, they tasted Browne Family wines and were impressed by the quality, history of critical acclaim, and Browne’s family story. As a country music lover, Browne was thrilled to meet Little Big Town and they clicked immediately, sharing their passion for quality, hand-crafted wines with family and friends.
“The beauty of this collaboration is that like music, this project is another extension of our creativity. This is the first collaboration outside of the band that the four of us have worked on together, and it’s a natural extension of what we hold dear – relaxing and celebrating with good friends, coming together and breaking bread, and fellowship,” said band member Fairchild.
