ISSUE #7: Spring 2015
“It isn’t sufficient just to want – you’ve got to ask yourself what you are going to do to get the things you want.”
― Franklin D. Roosevelt
We hope you’re enjoying a wonderful spring. At Browne Family Vineyads, the vines are leafing out a little earlier than usual and some of our new wine releases are hitting the shelves. Our new, recently released 2014 Sauvignon Blanc from the Columbia Valley is truly one of the most outstanding wines John Freeman has ever created. It’s also a must for fair-weather drinking!
Fermented with a majority of whole cluster berries, this wine had a great extraction of golden color and along with bright, crisp flavors. Aged for five months in all neutral oak, this wine has soft Fume Blanc characteristics and is loaded with tropical aromas, flavors of white peach, nectarine and kiwi, and a refreshing finish with balanced acids. Just 500 cases means it won’t be around long!
