ISSUE #8: A Prolific Harvest
Thanks to the season’s hot, dry weather and that state’s relatively newer plantings, the harvest in Washington should be well in excess of last year’s 227,000 tons. Working with very little water is nothing new to our vineyard teams, and having even less precipitation this year didn’t seem to put a crimp in things. We have incredible Bordeaux varieties coming in from the Waterbrook Estate Vineyard in Walla Walla this year and we’re looking forward sharing those 2015 Browne Family Vineyards wines when the time comes!
