ISSUE #1: Steamed, Baked and Grilled
When I turned 40 I found out that I had high levels of cholesterol and pre-diabetic levels of sugar in my system. With this diagnosis, I had to make some major changes in my diet and also my outlook on food. I have always enjoyed food and have never been an eat-to-live kind of guy, so learning to navigate how to eat while still maintaining the lifestyle I enjoyed was a bit of a challenge. I now live by the words “steamed, baked, and grilled” while dining out, and snack on berries and bell peppers of all colors.
